यूपी व बहराइच का गौरव: गज़नफ़र हैदर ‘गुलफाम’ बने बिहार राज्य परिवहन अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण के चेयरमैन
बहराइच, 19 मार्च। जनपद बहराइच व उत्तर प्रदेश के लिए गर्व का विषय है कि यहाँ के निवासी एवं प्रतिष्ठित परिवार से ताल्लुक रखने वाले न्यायिक अधिकारी गज़नफ़र हैदर ‘गुलफाम’ को बिहार में एक महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। पटना उच्च न्यायालय ने उन्हें राज्य परिवहन अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण (State Transport Appellate Tribunal) का चेयरमैन नियुक्त किया है।
इस पद पर रहते हुए श्री हैदर पूरे बिहार राज्य में परिवहन से जुड़े विभिन्न विवादों की अपीलों की सुनवाई करेंगे। यह पद न केवल न्यायिक दृष्टि से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है, बल्कि प्रशासनिक स्तर पर भी बड़ी जिम्मेदारी का द्योतक माना जाता है।
गज़नफ़र हैदर ने वर्ष 2018 में बिहार उच्चतर न्यायिक सेवा (Bihar Higher Judicial Services) में प्रवेश किया। अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान उन्होंने अपर ज़िला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश, हाजीपुर के रूप में कार्य किया। इसके अलावा वह पटना में बिहार वक्फ ट्रिब्यूनल के चेयरमैन तथा सुपौल में ज़िला एवं अपर सत्र न्यायाधीश के पद पर भी अपनी सेवाएं दे चुके हैं। उनके उत्कृष्ट कार्य और न्यायिक दक्षता को देखते हुए पटना उच्च न्यायालय ने उन्हें पदोन्नत करते हुए ज़िला जज बनाया और अब इस महत्वपूर्ण दायित्व से नवाज़ा है।
बिहार न्यायिक सेवा ज्वाइन करने से पूर्व श्री हैदर ने बहराइच जिला न्यायालय तथा इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय की लखनऊ पीठ में
काफी लम्बे समय तक वकालत की है।
श्री हैदर एक प्रतिष्ठित और सम्मानित परिवार से आते हैं। उनके पिता स्वर्गीय सैयद ज़रगाम हैदर (मिज्जन मियाँ) बहराइच के जाने-माने अधिवक्ता रहे। वह बहराइच नगर पालिका के चेयरमैन भी रहे तथा वर्ष 1957 में विधायक निर्वाचित हुए थे।
उच्च पदों पर आसीन होने के बावजूद गज़नफ़र हैदर ने अपनी जड़ों से जुड़ाव बनाए रखा है। वह समय-समय पर बहराइच, लखनऊ एवं उत्तर प्रदेश के अन्य जिलों में अपने परिजनों, मित्रों और शुभचिंतकों से मिलने आते रहते हैं।
जनपद के लोगों ने उनकी इस उपलब्धि पर हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए इसे बहराइच के लिए गौरव का क्षण बताया है। उनकी सफलता युवा पीढ़ी के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत बन रही है।

Pride of Bahraich and Uttar Pradesh: Ghazanfer Haider ‘Gulfam’ Appointed Chairman of Bihar State Transport Appellate Tribunal
Bahraich, March 19. It is a matter of great pride and honor for Bahraich that Ghazanfer Haider ‘Gulfam’, a distinguished judicial officer hailing from the district and belonging to a reputed family, has been entrusted with a significant responsibility in Bihar. The Patna High Court has appointed him as the Chairman of the State Transport Appellate Tribunal.
In this esteemed capacity, Mr. Haider will hear appeals related to various transport disputes across the entire state of Bihar. The position is considered highly important, not only from a judicial perspective but also in terms of administrative responsibility and governance.
Mr. Haider joined the Bihar Higher Judicial Services in 2018 and, in a relatively short span, has established a reputation for judicial excellence, integrity, and efficiency. During his tenure, he has served as Additional District & Sessions Judge in Hajipur, Chairman of the Bihar Waqf Tribunal in Patna, and District & Additional Sessions Judge in Supaul. Recognizing his outstanding service and competence, the Patna High Court promoted him as District Judge and has now entrusted him with this prestigious assignment.
Before joining the Bihar Judicial Service, Mr. Haider practiced as an advocate for a considerable period at the Bahraich District Court and the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court.
He belongs to a distinguished and respected family of Bahraich. His father, Late Syed Zargham Haider (popularly known as Mijjan Miyan), was a renowned advocate in Bahraich. He also served as Chairman of the Bahraich Municipal Board and was elected as an MLA in 1957, contributing significantly to public life.
Despite holding high offices, Mr. Haider remains deeply connected to his roots. He frequently visits Bahraich, Lucknow, and other parts of Uttar Pradesh to meet his family members, friends, and well-wishers, reflecting his grounded and humble personality.
His achievement has been widely celebrated in the district, with residents describing it as a proud moment for Bahraich. His success is seen as a source of inspiration for the younger generation.
